Vaastu > Mythology
The story began billions of years ago, when Brahma, the ancient Vedic semi-God was instructed by the Lord Himself to make creation. At the beginning of creation, Brahma made good and bad creatures. As Brahma and the other Semi-gods tried to make Aura, an invincible demon known as Vaastu Purusha was born. It was difficult to control this demon because he was a manifestation of the chaotic energy, and it was necessary to control him because he was a threat to the Universe. In a tremendous fight Brahma called the other 45 semi-Gods to help him and they threw the Vaastu Purusha demon onto the Earth where they were seated on him. As the Vaastu Purusha stayed in this position on Earth (with Brahma in the center of his navel and other semi-Gods and saints on the sides) he received positive transformation as was later known as Mahabhagavata, or a great devotee of God.
Before he was relieved, Vaastu Purusha bowed down to Brahma, saying:
“Dear Lord, how may I serve you?”
“I want you to stay here on the Earth and be the Lord of every home and structure", replied Brahama.
After this Vaastu Purusha asked the Sages about Satya Yuga(Golden age), Treta Yuga(Silver age), Dvapara Yuga(Bronze age).
"In these ages build their houses as per the Vaastu principles, in accordance with Nature. They serve the Lord with love and I can influence them positively. But in Kali Yuga(Iron age), (our current age) people will build structures and I will suffer because nobody will give any importance to my Master, Lord Vishnu. People will also not offer any food to me before they offer it to the Lord. What will I do and what will I eat?"
“Brahma says: If they don’t offer any respect to Lord Vishnu and to You, and they don’t offer food for you to eat , then let them become your food.”
When Vaastu Purusha has a negative influence on our life then this is because of a non awareness of Vaastu effects. Interior and exterior, every structure has been shown with the Vaastu Purusha diagram which contains 81 energetic fields. In the middle is Brahmastan, the place where Lord Brahma or creative energy exists. In the surrounding square fields are other semi-Gods and sages in different positions of the Vaastu Purusha body. On the North East there is the Head of Vaastu Purusha which is the most sensitive, most positive and most important zone of every structure and every part of the globe.
